Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is not therapy. Rather, a therapy is conducted in Hypnosis. This is called Hypnotherapy.
Suggestion
While in a state of hypnosis a person’s unconscious mind is far more open to the power of suggestion. It is in the unconscious that our emotional life is controlled. This is why our best atte mpts at changing habits are unsuccessful when the habit concerned is driven by emotional factors or anxiety. Our rational, conscious mind plays little or no part in driving these habits, e.g. smoking, nail –biting, over-eating and so on. In order to bring change to this behaviour we need to influence the emotional mind, the unconscious. By opening up the unconscious to the power of suggestion through hypnosis the therapist greatly increases the client’s ability to bring about change in behaviour and feeling. Thus therapeutic techniques which operate on the basis of making suggestions to clients, known as suggestion therapy, are very useful in bringing about improvements in clients’ lives.
Analysis
Hypnosis used in conjunction with analytical psychotherapeutic techniques, hypnoanalysis, greatly reduces the time required for such therapy to aid the client in finding the cause of his or her emotional distress. Our analytical therapy is known as PURE HYPNOANALYSIS, and is the most effective form of hypnotherapy available.
Using your Own Resources
Hypnosis can become a powerful tool in your quest for a better quality of life, but there is no magic solution which can be “imposed” upon a client by a Hypnotherapist—or any other therapist— which works without effort on your part. Therapy is all about your own hard work to deal with your issues. As your therapist I provide the necessary backup and support, and, while providing a safe non judgemental environment in which you can deal with your problems, at all times respect your confidentiality and right to privacy and anonymity. In this way you can be helped to use your own internal resources to achieve rapid positive change. I help clients deal with many, many problems. You can be sure that, at all times, I will provide you with the support and encouragement you need.
